New to Grow
I identify as a Transgender nonbinary Person of Color. I use my professional and lived experience to tailor a client specific experience. I use a variety of modalities to assist clients achieve their goals. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to and humor to engage in the human experience.
When a new client leaves their first session, I want them to feel seen, heard and understood. I would like for them to walk away feeling that I am invested in their success and will gently guide them through the process.
I am versatile in my approach according to what I think the client in front of me needs. After building the therapeutic alliance and getting to know someone, I can sit quietly and hold space, I can challenge someone or use humor as necessary to facilitate healing.
Clients who are entering or navigating young adulthood, their gender journey or trying to understand themselves better. My ideal client is open minded and willing to try new things. My ideal client has low acuity, can navigate community resources and mostly independent in their life. Also, they are willing to apply what we discuss in sessions to their everyday lives.
