I'm a licensed mental health counselor with 8 years of clinical experience and a background in executive healthcare leadership. I work primarily with women navigating the identity shifts that come with motherhood, leadership, and major life transitions. Whether you're adjusting to pregnancy or postpartum, moving through a career pivot, or feeling like you've lost yourself somewhere along the way, I help you get underneath the surface and reconnect with who you actually are. My approach blends evidence-based methods with mindfulness and mind-body practices. I am direct but warm, and I create a space where you can be fully honest, maybe for the first time in a while. Together we uncover what's keeping you stuck, shift the patterns that are no longer serving you, and build something that actually feels like you again.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about you feeling like you made the right call reaching out. I will ask questions, but I will also just listen. We will talk about what brought you here, what you have already tried, and what you actually want your life to feel like. I will share how I work and answer anything you want to know about me or the process. You will leave with a clearer sense of direction and, hopefully, a little bit of relief.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to meet you exactly where you are without judgment, and help you go deeper than you expected. I create a space that feels both warm and purposeful, so you leave sessions with actual clarity, not just comfort. I bring clinical expertise across evidence-based approaches alongside a genuine attunement to the mind-body connection. I tailor everything to you, because cookie-cutter therapy does not work for the kind of growth my clients are after. I also bring a background in executive healthcare leadership, which means I understand what it's like to hold responsibility for others while quietly neglecting yourself. That experience shapes how I work with high-functioning women, leaders, and helpers who are used to being the one who has it together. Clients often tell me they felt understood in a way they did not expect, and that our work helped them reconnect with a version of themselves they thought they had lost.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is a woman who is high-functioning on the outside and quietly exhausted on the inside. She is navigating motherhood, a major identity shift, or a life transition she did not fully see coming, and she is ready to go deeper than coping skills. I work especially well with women in the perinatal season, pregnancy through postpartum, who are grappling with who they are becoming, not just what they are feeling. I also work with leaders, professionals, and helpers who carry enormous responsibility for others and desperately need a space to just be a person. I am proud to provide affirming, safe, and knowledgeable care for members of the gender expansive community navigating identity, relationships, and systemic challenges. If you are motivated to grow and willing to be honest, even when it is uncomfortable, we will do really good work together.

My treatment methods

Narrative

I use Narrative Therapy to help clients separate themselves from their problems and reconnect with their strengths. Together, we explore the stories they carry about their lives, relationships, and challenges, and then reframe those stories in ways that highlight resilience, growth, and possibility. This approach empowers clients to step into preferred identities and create new narratives that feel authentic and aligned with their values.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and the ways they influence emotions and behaviors. Together, we practice skills to challenge and reframe these thoughts, while developing healthier coping strategies. This approach is practical, goal-oriented, and focused on creating lasting changes in daily life.

Gender-affirming therapy

I provide Gender-Affirming Therapy as a safe and supportive space for individuals exploring or expressing their gender identity. My approach is rooted in respect, validation, and empowerment, helping clients navigate personal, relational, and systemic challenges while honoring their authentic selves. Together, we work on building resilience, self-acceptance, and confidence in living fully as who they are.

Mind-body approach

I integrate a mind-body approach to help clients recognize the deep connection between their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. This may include mindfulness practices, breathwork, grounding techniques, or gentle awareness of how stress and emotions show up in the body. By strengthening this connection, clients can reduce anxiety, improve self-regulation, and cultivate greater balance in daily life.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients safely process and release distressing memories, beliefs, and emotions that continue to affect their present well-being. My approach integrates EMDR with mindfulness, grounding, and body awareness so clients can stay connected to themselves while exploring past experiences. I create a supportive, attuned environment where we move at a pace that feels safe and empowering. EMDR sessions with me often focus on restoring emotional balance, strengthening self-trust, and helping clients reconnect with their inner sense of calm and resilience.
