Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from Connecticut. I received my Master's Degree from New York University (NYU) with a focus on Counseling for Mental Health & Wellness and a research interest in spirituality and trauma. I have worked with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault for the past 8 years. I help survivors of trauma to thrive and create a new future based on inner strengths. I utilize an integrative, eclectic approach to therapy.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then I would like to learn more about what brings you to therapy. I would like to better understand your goals for therapy. What brings you to therapy can be immediate challenges or long-standing issues. I would like to develop a plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with survivors of trauma for the past 8 years, I understand the unique challenges that face trauma survivors and I can work with you to help you overcome past events and create an exciting, growth-oriented future.
I love working with clients who are eager to better their lives and who want to harness their inner strengths to create a new reality for themselves.
I utilize an eclectic treatment method which encompasses strength-based therapy with specialization in trauma and PTSD.
