I'm a therapist licensed in Colorado and I'm passionate about helping my clients move towards positive changes in their life while addressing the underlying issues such as past trauma, attachment wounds, childhood and family issues, ongoing stress and life challenges. I offer EMDR and talk therapy for individuals (18+) and couples. I use attachment focused and trauma informed approach in my treatment, as well as solution-focused approach. You will define a desirable change and we'll work on finding a way to make it happen while using your strengths, available resources and therapeutic support.

Strengths

I use a unique approach with each client incorporating EMDR, CBT, attachment-based, trauma focused and solution focused approaches to help my client navigate change and achieve their goals. I have diverse life and professional experience that helps me understand and connect with clients form different backgrounds and offer them therapy that meets their specific needs. I actively engage with my clients and offer them an ongoing support in their journey.

Ideal clients

My ideal clients are adults and couples navigating attachment issues, PTSD, sexual or childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, relational and parenting challenges, as well as professional burnout, vicarious trauma, work-life balance, and stress. I also support clients working through race, cultural, and immigration experiences, career development, creativity, wellbeing, and healthy lifestyle changes, who are seeking greater self-understanding, resilience, and meaningful change in their lives and relationships.

Treatment methods

EMDR

I use a trauma-informed approach incorporating EMDR and talk therapy to help clients understand and heal from past trauma and ongoing stress.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify and understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, particularly in relation to trauma, relationships, attachment patterns, and current life challenges and stressors.

Attachment-based

I use attachment-based theory to help clients understand how early relationships and life experiences shape their emotional patterns, relationships, sense of safety, and connection with others. Through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach, we explore attachment wounds and relational patterns while building greater self-awareness, security, and healthier ways of connecting.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I use a culturally responsive approach that recognizes how race, culture, family, identity, and lived experiences can shape emotional and relational patterns, while supporting clients in developing practical skills for meaningful change. Working with diverse population, it is important to understand client's cultural background and offer culturally appropriate interventions.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I integrate DBT skills to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness while addressing their presenting issues.
