I help high-functioning adults reconnect with themselves and learn to trust their own judgment again. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who have spent years taking care of everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. They often appear successful on the outside but privately feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who they used to be. You may be recovering from betrayal, navigating a difficult relationship or divorce, struggling with perfectionism or people-pleasing, healing from trauma, or facing a major life transition. Somewhere along the way, you may have begun second-guessing yourself, losing confidence in your instincts, or wondering why life feels so much harder than it looks from the outside. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. Together, we'll make sense of the patterns keeping you stuck, calm your nervous system, reduce shame, strengthen healthy boundaries, and build the confidence to make choices that align with your values instead of fear or self-doubt. Therapy should leave you feeling understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools that make everyday life feel lighter.
Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you're used to handling everything on your own. Our first session is simply a conversation where we begin getting to know one another and decide whether we're a good fit. You'll have space to talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what you've already tried, what's feeling most difficult right now, and what you hope will be different in your life. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, relationships, strengths, and goals so we can begin creating a plan that fits your needs. You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin, and you don't have to tell your whole story in one session. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable while focusing on what matters most to you.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I combine warmth with honesty. I create a space where people feel genuinely understood while also receiving practical guidance that helps them move forward. I believe therapy should be both compassionate and productive. Rather than simply talking about problems, we'll work together to understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck and develop practical strategies for changing them. My work is trauma-informed and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs. I especially enjoy working with thoughtful, high-functioning adults who have spent years being the dependable one for everyone else. Many of my clients have become disconnected from their own needs after years of caregiving, people-pleasing, emotional abuse, perfectionism, or simply carrying too much responsibility for too long. Therapy isn't about becoming someone different. It's about reconnecting with the person you were before anxiety, trauma, betrayal, or years of putting yourself last convinced you to stop trusting yourself. My goal is to help you leave therapy feeling calmer, more confident, and able to move through life with greater clarity, self-trust, and resilience.
My ideal client is someone who is tired of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or responsible for everyone else’s emotions. They may be carrying anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship pain, betrayal, perfectionism, or years of putting their own needs last. Often, they are capable and compassionate people who have spent a long time surviving, over-functioning, or trying to keep peace while losing connection with themselves. I work well with clients who are ready to slow down, understand their patterns, build healthier boundaries, and learn new ways to cope, communicate, and care for themselves. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and compassionate, with the goal of helping clients feel more grounded, confident, and free to make choices that support their wellbeing.

Trauma Informed Care
I use trauma-informed care by recognizing that past experiences can shape a client’s nervous system, relationships, beliefs, coping strategies, and sense of safety. In therapy, I prioritize collaboration, choice, emotional safety, and trust. I help clients identify patterns that may have developed as survival responses, build regulation and grounding skills, and develop more compassionate and effective ways of responding to stress, triggers, and relationship challenges.
