I'm a therapist specializing in ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, medical trauma and chronic illness, as well as recovering from toxic or narcisstic relationships.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and draws from evidence-based practices like ACT, DBT, attachment-based work, and Gottman therapy to help you better understand yourself, improve your relationships, and build practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting, just a willingness to show up and explore what change could look like for you. I will help guide you with the rest.
First session
During our first session we will focus on setting the scene-your history, enviornment, support sustem, what brings you into therapy, etc. You can expect a supportive and calm space where you can open up at your own pace. We will discuss goals of therapy at the end and make a treatment plan together so that you can leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clearer about how we can work together moving forward.
Strengths
As a therapist, I prioritize therapy techniques that are practical and grounded that focus on creating long-lasting, meaningful change, not just temporary relief. I help clients move beyond insight alone by translating understanding into actionable tools they can apply to daily life, while individualizing treatment to each person’s needs and goals.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who is motivated to grow and is open to the therapeutic process, even if they’re not yet fully clear on what’s bringing them in or how to "do" therapy. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or in transition, but are willing to explore their past experiences, gain insight, be vulnerable, and engage in meaningful conversation and change.
Treatment methods
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients move away from trying to completely eliminate difficult emotions and instead build a more comfortable, flexible relationship with them. Together, we focus on making space for what you feel so those emotions don’t dictate your choices or keep you from living in line with your values.
Gottman method
In my practice, I use Gottman Therapy to help couples better understand each other’s inner worlds and strengthen their emotional connection. Together, we build and practice skills for communication, conflict management, and trust so partners can navigate challenges together with more clarity, respect, and stability.
Attachment-based
In my practice, I use attachment-based therapy to help clients understand how early relationship experiences shape the way they connect with others today. Together, we work toward building a greater sense of security so you can form more stable, trusting, and fulfilling relationships.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build practical skills for managing intense emotions, tolerating distress, and improving relationships. Together, we focus on balancing acceptance and change so you can respond to challenges more effectively and feel more grounded in daily life, and have coping mechanisms in your toolkit.
