About me

My name is Kayla Chamberlain and I am an LPC. My background is in school counseling and clinical mental health. I've been practicing for the past 8 years in both clinical and school settings. My focus is on establishing a strong therapeutic relationship encompassing openness and trust. I treat those struggling with depression, anxiety/phobias, grief, eating disorders, OCD, stress, poor self-worth, identity issues, trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, relationship issues, emotional dysregulation, communication and interpersonal issues.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I've worked with many different patients struggling with many different things so I know how to tailor treatment and goals to what each patient of mine needs. It's not a one size fits all approach with me. I really dive into root causes of issues and symptoms that leads to a better understanding of self, behavior change, healing, and mindset shifts.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults and adults. Many of my clients struggle with negative core beliefs and assumptions and I excel in bringing these into awareness and working to shift them into more realistic ones. This in turn creates a space of relief, assurance, awareness and growth in a positive direction.
