(she/her)
Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker bringing 25+ years of diverse training and clinical practice, as well as experience from my own healing journey. I’ve been licensed to practice therapy for the past 11 years. I work with clients hoping to improve their mental health, and those transitioning through new or difficult times in their lives. I enjoy supporting clients facing relationship challenges, who are hoping to improve this part of their lives. As well as those with complex family dynamics looking to unpack past generational trauma and adversities. Exploring the past can shed light on areas where we feel stuck today, and often shows up most acutely in our present-day relationship patterns and behaviors. I also welcome all LGBTQAI+ clients.
Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another. I welcome clients to ask any questions they might have, to ensure we’re a good fit. I also offer a free 15 min phone consult prior to our first session, for clients wishing to take advantage of this.
My focus is to offer a welcoming and nonjudgmental space for clients, where you can feel as comfortable as possible. I offer a very open-minded approach to my therapy practice.
I currently work with young adults and adults in the state of CA. I welcome women, men and the LGBTQAI+ community. I welcome clients with diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, different than myself. I encourage these clients to ask any questions they might have of me during our first session to ensure I’m a good fit for your specific needs. I also offer a free phone consult prior to our first session for this, for clients wishing to take advantage of this.

Trauma Informed Care
Trauma informed practice is the cornerstone of my work. I believe it’s important to always consider all aspects of our present and past experiences, areas of strength and equally as important traumatic and stressful moments in our lives. With this in mind, it’s important to me to create a safe and supportive space for clients.
Relational
Relationships are a guiding force in our lives and directly relate to our mental health. Healthy, fulfilling relationships are important for our overall well-being as humans. I believe our earliest attachments and generational relationship patterns follow us into our present-day and set the stage for how we engage in relationships throughout our lives. With this, creating a trusting therapeutic relationship between a client and therapist is important.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My practice is to allow clients to lead a majority of sessions, presenting what’s most important to you at the time of our sessions. My role as a therapist is to offer an empathetic, non-judgmental and encouraging space.
Existential
I believe we all have unique identities and free-will, freedom in our choices and actions. When we’re suffering in our mental and/or physical health, or life presents challenges, we can feel stuck. During these times it’s important to examine how we show up in the face of uncertainty. I feel these times present us with an opportunity for self-awareness, discovery and ultimately change.
