A. Rosario
Let me guess: You've been thinking about therapy for a while now. Maybe months, maybe years, but something kept stopping you. Too busy, too expensive, "it's not that bad yet," or maybe just the fear of opening up to a stranger who might judge you or not really get it. Here's what I want you to know: You don't need to wait until things get worse, you don't need permission to ask for help, and you don't have to figure this out alone. That's why I'm here.
Whether it's pressure from your family, feeling caught between who you are and who you're "supposed" to be, or just never feeling quite enough, I get it.
As a board-certified bilingual therapist, veteran, and founder of www.TalkHealRepeat.com , I've spent over 10 years supporting thousands of clients through trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions that once felt impossible, from crisis units and corrections facilities to refugee shelters and quiet therapy rooms, working with chronic mental illness, personality disorders, abuse, trauma, ADHD, OCD, addictions, and some of the hardest moments of their lives. Here's what I know for sure: healing doesn't require perfection, it requires honesty and someone who actually gets it. You're not broken, you're dealing with hard things, and you deserve help that feels supportive, not cold, not judgmental, not like one more thing you're supposed to "fix" about yourself. 🔺If you can’t find a time on my calendar, message me. I’ll move things around, lose a lunch break, get creative. You showing up here already tells me everything I need to know about you.
First session
No pressure, no agenda, just two people sitting down to talk. Think of our first session as your space to exhale. I’m not here to diagnose you in 50 minutes or hand you a worksheet and call it therapy. I want to know your story, what keeps you up at night, what you’ve been carrying quietly, what finally made you click on my profile today. I’ll ask questions because I genuinely want to know you, not to check boxes, but to actually understand. And you get to ask me anything too. How I work, what therapy looks like, whether I’m the right fit. You’re trusting me with something real, and you deserve to feel certain about that before we begin. You’re in the driver’s seat, always. Some people dive deep on day one. Others need a few sessions before it starts to feel safe. Both are completely fine, and neither will make me blink.
Strengths
Real talk, real tools, real results. People tell me they opened up faster than they expected because I’m direct and warm at the same time, and because nothing rattles me. I’ve worked in crisis units, correctional facilities, and federal settings. Whatever you’re carrying, I’ve likely sat with something close to it, and I’m not going anywhere. Here’s what makes my work different: I understand the weight of expectation. The pressure of family, culture, identity. The exhaustion of being caught between who you are and who everyone needs you to be. The feeling of never being quite enough, no matter how much you do. I get it, not just professionally, but deeply. And here’s the part that matters most: I hold hope when you can’t. When you’re sitting across from me convinced that nothing will change, I’ll be the one who believes otherwise. I’ll hold that belief for you, quietly and without pressure, until you’re ready to hold it yourself. That’s not a technique. That’s just how I show up.
Ideal clients
This might be your space if: • Your past still runs your life. It shows up in your body, your relationships, how you sleep, how you react, and you’re finally ready to process it, not just survive it. • Anxiety is your constant companion. The racing thoughts, the chest tightness, the feeling that something bad is always about to happen, even when everything looks fine. • Depression has made everything feel heavy and far away, and if one more person tells you to “just think positive” you might lose it. (If that actually worked, you’d be fine by now.) • You’re stuck in patterns you hate. The same arguments, the same self-sabotage, and no matter how well you understand them, you can’t seem to stop. • Family expectations are crushing you, whether about relationships, career, or identity, and you’re exhausted from shrinking yourself to keep everyone else comfortable. What working with me actually looks like: • Honest conversation. I’ll celebrate your wins and push back, gently, when comfort is keeping you stuck. • A standing reminder that healing isn’t linear. Breakthroughs and “I got out of bed” days are both progress. Both count. • No jargon, no judgment, no performance. Just real work between two real people. You don’t have to wait until things fall apart. You don’t have to earn the right to feel better. You just have to be willing to try something different. You’ve probably seen other profiles today. Maybe they seemed fine, qualified, professional. But something made you keep reading this one. Trust that. We’re going to do good work together. Maybe it’s time to talk. Not the best fit for grief, substance use, divorce, or couples therapy. But I’ll happily help you find your person
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Therapy is not one size fits all. Every person who sits across from me is different, so the way we work together will be too. My home base is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because it is practical, it makes sense, and it works. But I am trained in a range of approaches and I will use whatever actually helps you move forward. We are not here to just talk in circles. We are here to actually work on the thoughts, patterns, and habits that are getting in your way. No rigid formulas, no cookie cutter treatment. Just you, me, and a plan that fits.
