First session
We will begin our first session by brief introductions and then I will allow you to tell me what is going on and what you are hoping to achieve through our sessions. We will explore barriers to achieving your goals and work to come up with a treatment plan to meet the stated goals.
Strengths
My greatest strength is building rapport and creating a safe environment. I am a attentive listener and ask questions which will provoke thoughts that will help clients identify their needs and come up with creative ways to implement life changes.
Ideal clients
I am inspired to work with people who are at a crossroad and trying to find direction. I love to empower my clients to create a more fulfilling life for themselves through discipline, routine, and honoring commitments to themselves. I want to encourage people to create the lives they desire and truly become their best self.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have worked with clients to identify problematic patterns and behaviors through changing negative thought patterns. I encouraged clients to identify what they wanted their life to look like and helped to align their thoughts with this desired life.
Couples Counseling
I have helped couples with effective communication and taught ways to implement interventions to help when things may come up.
