Hello, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in Georgia. I received my masters of social work from Kennesaw State University and have been practicing for the last 7 years. I help women struggling with abuse or postpartum mental health issues heal from the trauma that they have endured. I also work with children and adolescents using play therapy techniques.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we’ll start with discussing briefly what you are looking for and then dive into specific challenges you’re facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. At the end of our first session, we will discuss your treatment goals and which ones you would like to focus on in the beginning.

I am empathic and compassionate towards my clients and their trauma. Ive developed my skills in order to guide my clients in their healing journey where they become empowered to navigate life with skills of regulation and grounding.

Somatic

Somatic Experiencing is a great way to process trauma using your nervous system and is a body–mind therapy specifically focused on healing trauma by helping clients draw their attention to their bodies Some times we can get stuck in a trauma response (fight/flight/freeze/fawn) mode and our nervous system is unable to regulate itself without appropriate coping skills. I would like to help you gain the skills to recognize what is going on with your nervous system and how to help yourself regulate and heal.
