In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our initial one to two sessions consist of assessment and thorough understanding of your concerns and goals. The majority of my clients show meaningful improvement after 6 to 12 sessions. For clients who need longer term therapeutic support, individualized treatment process and pragmatic goals will be developed collaboratively.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
My overall approach is client centered and psychodynamic, but I often utilize cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and applied behavior analysis techniques when appropriate.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My professional strengths are in the areas of psychological assessment and short-term psychotherapy. I have conducted over 40,000 psychological evaluations of children and adults over the course of my career. I enjoy working with motivated clients within the short-term psychotherapy framework.
