I am a dedicated clinical social worker with a deep commitment to holistic healing and solution-focused care. With over twenty-six years of experience working with individuals, families and children, I believe that mental health is a journey of growth and self-discovery. My practice is built on the foundation of trust, empathy, and personalized treatment approaches designed to support your unique path to wellness.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will take time to get to know one another and then talk about what brought you to therapy. We will talk about your strengths, your worries & concerns, and then we will decide on the goals you'd like to work on. I'll explain the therapeutic process and answer any questions you have.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe true healing happens when clients feel both supported and understood while also being encouraged to explore the deeper patterns that shape their lives. I combine evidence-based practices with a compassionate, individualized approach that helps clients gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors. Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, I work collaboratively with clients to foster self-awareness, resilience, and lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My therapeutic style is well-suited for clients who are ready to explore the deeper thoughts and emotions that impact their relationships, choices, and overall well-being. I work well with those who are seeking greater self-awareness, personal growth, and meaningful change, along with the quest for symptom management. Helping those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, grief and loss, navigating life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed is an important part of my practice.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In therapy, we work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, self esteem issues, relationship difficulties, or other concerns. Once the patterns are recognized, we work on healthier, more balanced thinking and develop coping strategies that can be used in everyday life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered is a warm, supportive approach that places you at the center of your own therapy and allows you the space to gain insight into your own experiences and what feels right for you.

Christian Counseling

The integration of faith in therapy is always guided by your preference and comfort level. You are given the opportunity to explore challenges with in a safe, nonjudgmental environment while incorporating spiritual principles that are meaningful to you.

Couples Counseling

Couples therapy helps partners identify unhealthy patterns, improve communication, and develop the tools needed to navigate challenges together more effectively. Through a collaborative and nonjudgmental process, couples can learn to express their needs, listen with greater empathy, and work toward shared goals.

Eclectic

Eclectic Therapy is a flexible and personalized approach that recognizes that no single therapeutic method works for everyone. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to create a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique needs, goals, personality, and life experiences.
