About me

Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, and have been working in the social services field for approximately six years. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of gaining experience across a variety of settings, including child welfare, non-profit organizations, intensive residential treatment programs for children, veteran’s services program, and women’s homeless shelters.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In a first session with me, clients can expect a conversational, personalized, and supportive interaction where I focus on understanding their needs and goals. Here’s what typically happens: Establishing rapport, Clarifying goals, Identifying challenges, Assessing strengths and resources, Introducing tools and strategies, and next steps for future sessions. My goal is to create a non-judgmental, collaborative atmosphere where you feel empowered to work toward positive change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider is structured guidance, adaptability, accessibility and consistency and my focus on empowerment. My passion lies in helping people overcome challenges, empowering them to enhance their well-being, and guiding them toward a better quality of life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

“While we cannot change the past, the present offers us the power to choose how we move forward. My goal is to help clients define their own path to healing, growth, and change. My question to you is simple: How do you define therapy, and are you ready to embark on a journey of healing and transformation?”

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have over three years of cognitive behavioral therapy experience. In practice, this can look like helping with stress management, tackling negative self-talk, or navigating situations that provoke anxiety or depressive thoughts. The goal of this treatment method is to Identifying cognitive distortions, Challenging unhelpful beliefs, Guiding toward actionable steps, and Providing tools for reflection.

Motivational Interviewing

In essence, I use MI principles to foster a collaborative, non-judgmental dialogue that supports a person’s own motivation for change, whether related to health, habits, or personal growth. I use MI techniques in conversations: Empathy and active listening, Exploring ambivalence, Strengthening motivation, Support for self-efficacy, and Rolling with resistance.
