About me

I’m glad you’re here. I believe therapy begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where we can work together to navigate life’s challenges, build on your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change. Every person’s journey is unique, so I tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals. Whether you’re facing a difficult season or seeking personal growth, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence, clarity, and hope.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from our time together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask me any questions as well. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported as we begin working toward the changes that matter most to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a warm, approachable, and down-to-earth style to therapy. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, while also being challenged to grow. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I combine compassion with practical tools to help you navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward the life you want to create.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I support clients navigating trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, co-parenting challenges, and patterns related to emotional reactivity or entitlement. I also offer space for those who want to integrate their faith into therapy when it is meaningful to them. My approach is grounded in building insight, strengthening emotional regulation, and developing healthier relationships. I aim to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel understood while also being encouraged toward real and lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we explore unhelpful thought patterns that may be contributing to stress, mood challenges, relationship difficulties, or difficulty with emotional regulation. I support clients in developing more balanced thinking and practical coping strategies they can apply in daily life. The goal is to increase self-awareness, improve decision-making, and create lasting behavioral change.

Christian Counseling

I may integrate Christian counseling when it is meaningful to you and aligns with your goals. This can include exploring faith as a source of strength, hope, and guidance while working through life’s challenges. My approach is respectful and client-led, ensuring your values and beliefs are honored within the therapeutic process.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness-based approaches to help clients become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences without judgment. Through techniques such as grounding, present-moment awareness, and mindful breathing, clients can develop healthier ways of managing stress and emotional challenges. I work collaboratively to help clients slow down, identify unhelpful patterns, and respond more intentionally rather than react automatically. Mindfulness can be integrated with other therapeutic approaches to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and lasting personal growth.

Trauma Informed Care

I focus on creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel in control of your healing process. We work at a pace that feels manageable while building trust, emotional safety, and practical coping skills to help you process past experiences without becoming overwhelmed.

Psychoeducation

I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and nervous system responses are connected. I also provide practical information and tools to support insight, improve coping skills, and make the therapeutic process more understandable and applicable to everyday life.

We have had one session but I found him to be very informative and non-judgemental about anything I have going on. He is funny and very respectful. Very great communication skills and understanding of the struggles of life. I am grateful to be able to talk about my faith openly and learn to incorporate that into life decisions. I've had a wonderful experience so far and look forward to talking with him more!
