Hi. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Indiana and Utah. I help my clients overcome challenges that stand in the way of living a happier and healthier life congruent with their values and aspirations. I have clinical experience working with those suffering from relationship problems, low-self esteem, addiction and anxiety and depression. I am also a career development facilitator. I guide my clients through interviewing techniques, job search and resume building techniques. I previously worked as career development facilitator for the US Army in Germany and at West Point, NY.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will get to know one another and assess and prioritize those things that are most important for success. What is the low hanging fruit? What are some simple things that we might be able to do to lead you to feeling better and making progress?

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I truly work to get to know as much as I can about all of my clients. I want to understand everything about the dynamics of your environment. We will talk about your history, values, feelings and dreams. I give personalized guidance based on your particular situation.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I really enjoy seeing my clients reach their full potential. I have found that many of my clients are far much more capable than they think! The key to success relies on the "therapeutic alliance". We work as a team to assess and identify strengths and challenges. Many clients simply need to have someone guide them through examining the underlying beliefs. Are the things that you believe about yourself and your potential true? Are there alternative ways to handle situations that have been difficult to deal with, such as personal and professional relationships? Though socratic questioning we will identify work to identify and answer these questions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Are the beliefs that you have about yourself true? Using Socratic questioning, we seek to prove or disapprove those beliefs that you have that are not leading to desired outcomes. We will challenge the negative beliefs that you have about yourself and stand in the way of achieving a happier life.
