With more than twenty years of experience working with individuals, couples, children, and adolescents, I bring a seasoned, compassionate approach to therapy. My background spans both clinical and educational settings, allowing me to offer well-rounded, thoughtful care that is customized to each client’s unique needs and goals. I hold a doctorate in Behavioral Health and am trained in a range of evidence-based practices for clients across the lifespan. My style is supportive, strengths-based, and collaborative—meeting you exactly where you are while helping you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose. It is a privilege to support clients as they build resilience, gain deeper self-understanding, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our virtual sessions, you can expect a warm, supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself. I’ll take time to get to know you, understand your concerns, and clarify what you hope to gain from therapy. Clients often share that they feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered in our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is solution-focused and client-centered. With experience across multiple evidence-based treatment modalities, I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs through a supportive, collaborative process that fosters emotional growth, resilience, and lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with individuals, adolescents, and couples, who are striving for a healthier, more fulfilling life but feel blocked by stress, emotional struggles, or past experiences. I help clients deal with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, and school or career challenges. Therapy goals can include but not limited to helping clients reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier ways to cope with stress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of my preferred treatment approaches because it is practical, evidence-based, and highly effective in addressing a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. I completed specialized training and certification in CBT through New York University in New York City. CBT helps clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and understand how these thoughts influence emotions and behaviors. By increasing awareness of these connections, clients can develop healthier coping strategies and make meaningful changes that reduce emotional distress and improve overall functioning.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I received my training for Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) from Northwell Health Psychiatric Hospital. SFBT helps clients identify what’s working, what they want for the future, and how to get there. This keeps therapy positive, motivating, and forward moving. Instead of staying stuck in the problem, we work together to build small, meaningful steps toward the future they want.

Couples Counseling

I have worked with couples for twenty years and find that couples counseling helps partners communicate better, understand each other more clearly, and work together to improve their relationship. This type of counseling provides tools, structure, and support so the relationship can grow in a healthier direction.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In therapy, we will explore the benefits of Mindfulness-Based Therapy and develop practical mindfulness techniques to support emotional wellness. This approach can help regulate symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve focus and concentration, reduce rumination and overthinking, and increase emotional awareness, while promoting a greater sense of calm, balance, and overall well-being.
