VirtualAvailable

Hi, I’m Nicole, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy to teens and adults across Kentucky. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be yourself without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, trauma, burnout, postpartum changes, relationship stress, or a major life transition, I’m here to help you better understand yourself, feel less stuck, and make changes that actually fit your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is really just a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what brought you to therapy, and what you’d like help with. There’s no pressure to share your entire life story or have everything figured out right away. We’ll take things at a pace that feels comfortable and start creating a plan based on what you want to work toward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I don’t believe therapy should feel cold or overly clinical. I focus on creating a space where you can be yourself, ask questions, and talk honestly about what’s going on. My approach is warm and collaborative, while still offering practical tools and honest feedback when needed. My goal is to help you better understand yourself , not just make it through another week.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with people who are used to being the strong one, the one everyone else relies on. Many are balancing work, relationships, parenting, or caregiving while quietly dealing with anxiety, burnout, past trauma, or feeling like they’ve lost themselves along the way. They aren’t looking for someone to “fix” them. They want a space where they can be honest, understand themselves better, and start feeling like themselves again

My treatment methods

Humanistic

My humanistic approach is built on the belief that you know yourself and your life best. I’m not here to tell you what to do. I’m here to work alongside you as we make sense of your experiences, recognize patterns, and figure out what moving forward looks like for you. Therapy should feel like a safe, judgment-free space where you can be honest, feel understood, and make meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you recognize patterns in how you think, feel, and respond to life’s challenges. The goal isn’t to change who you are, but to better understand what may be keeping you stuck and build practical tools that actually work in your everyday life. I combine CBT with other approaches so therapy feels personalized to you and what you need.
