I believe in not just giving ok treatment, but the best available. That’s why I love matching your needs with the best type of therapy that’s also backed up with research to definitely be able to help you. With that, you’re still the expert on you and your life, so you bring your experiences and I’ll bring my knowledge, and together we can figure out how to help you figure out how to get exactly what you’re wanting in life. I specialize in working with anxieties, depression, trauma, as well as with teens and parents. I’ve worked with kids most of my life in one form or another doing therapy, mentoring, and teaching English abroad. Whatever is bothering you I’m here to help. LGBTQ friendly. Whatever it is, let me help you, and if there’s something I don’t have the proper expertise in then I also have no problem admitting that and directing you to someone who can help so that you don’t have to waste your time.
The first session is mostly a get-to-know-you session so there's some basic background info I need to gather, primarily who you are, what's going on, and what it is that you're wanting to get out of therapy. Once we got that established then we can jump into helping you with whatever you're wanting help with.
I like treating whatever you come in with but I particularly love and enjoy working with all forms of anxiety, for I find it uniquely fun. Also, I like to think of myself as young at heart, so I feel like I'm able to connect with and work well with teens, for I've worked with them in one form or another most of my life. In addition to all this, I'm a man of faith myself, so if that's something important to you then we can totally make that an integral part of your treatment if you want, and if you're not then you also don't have to worry about me pushing faith on you either. I'm open-minded enough to accept and apply whatever will make you most comfortable in therapy.
I will work with pretty much anyone no matter their age, race, background, or gender identity. I have a lot of experience working with adults but also teenagers and younger kids. I'm also well suited to help working professionals deal with burnout and work place stress, as well as help parents navigate all the difficult challenges that come with raising kids. If you want me to work with your child under 12 just be aware that I will want heavy parental involvement too, as that is what leads to actual real improvement.

. Nathan has been an incredibly helpful support as I navigate challenging and stressful situations at work. Our weekly sessions have given me a consistent space to process my thoughts and emotions. He’s equipped me with practical, easy-to-apply strategies that have made a real difference in how I manage stress and anxiety daily. I feel more grounded, better able to handle difficult situations, and more aware of how to respond instead of react.
