I am a Latina-identified therapist with 10 years of diverse clinical experience in social work. Throughout my career, I have worked in healthcare settings, partnering with clients to identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies for achieving them. My approach is grounded in culturally responsive, compassionate care that honors each person's unique experiences while fostering resilience, healing, and personal growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and talk through your personal story. Together, we'll identify what matters most to you and begin creating a plan that supports meaningful progress and lasting change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe growth comes from both recognizing your strengths and making space for your struggles. My role is to help you challenge unhelpful thought patterns while supporting you in processing difficult emotions and experiences in a way that promotes insight and healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in supporting older adults navigating health-related challenges, individuals living with chronic health conditions, and those experiencing anxiety or major life transitions. I also work with neurodivergent adults, first-generation individuals exploring identity and belonging, and older Latine adults. My approach is culturally responsive, strengths-based, and tailored to each client's unique experiences, values, and goals. My ideal clients are seeking culturally sensitive care and are part of the latine community.

My treatment methods

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

By recognizing and respecting each client's cultural background, beliefs, and values as an essential part of the therapeutic process I will adapt my communication and interventions to provide culturally responsive, inclusive, and individualized care.

Motivational Interviewing

I will use motivational interviewing to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence about making positive changes. I will use open-ended questions, reflective listening, and collaborative goal setting to strengthen clients' motivation and confidence in achieving their treatment goals.

Strength-Based

I will use a strengths-based approach by identifying and building on each client's existing abilities, resources, and resilience. I will encourage clients to use their strengths to overcome challenges, increase self-confidence, and support progress toward their treatment goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I will use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that contribute to their concerns. I will teach practical coping skills and problem-solving strategies to promote healthier thinking patterns and improve emotional well-being.
