About me

My name is Margaret Whitmore, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I began working in the mental health field in 2015 as a case manager. In 2019, I graduated with my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy from Ursuline College. I am dedicated to providing counseling services to those looking to reignite their spark in life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During this initial meeting, our primary focus will be to collaboratively identify your personal goals for therapy. We will also explore any potential barriers or challenges that might be currently preventing you from achieving these goals. This foundational discussion will help us create a clear path forward and tailor our work to your specific needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients experience growth when they choose to work with me because I have a natural ability to deeply understand, validate, and reflect their life experiences. Many feel comfortable to opening up early on, which allows us to quickly get to the heart of the challenges and patterns that brought them to therapy. I take pride in connecting with people from every background. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and supported as you grow and move toward the life you want and deserve.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I provide compassionate, culturally responsive therapy for people carrying heavy, often unspoken pressures—whether from roles, relationships, identity, or life transitions. My goal isn’t just to treat a diagnosis, but focus on supporting you in reconnecting with your most authentic self. We have all been faced with circumstances that lead us away from our WHY. At Spark33, I will support you in releasing the weight of expectations so you can move toward an empowered, self-assured way of living that reignites your spark.
