Specializing in child, adolescent and young adult and women counseling. If you are a parent, care giver or guardian and have a child struggling with recent behaviors in school, home or community settings, you have come to the right profile. I work from the approach of being client-centered and trauma informed care. My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The idea is that negative or distorted thinking can lead to distressing emotions and unhelpful behaviors, creating a cycle that maintains problems like anxiety or depression. In our sessions together you will learn ways to reach your goals thru healthy strategies and support.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In my experience using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I’ve found that the method is most effective when it balances structured skill-building with a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in validation and collaboration. My approach begins with a clear assessment to understand the client’s needs, behavioral patterns, and treatment goals. From there, I introduce the core DBT modules—mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness—and work with the client to apply these skills in real-life situations. I emphasize a nonjudgmental, supportive environment where clients feel heard and encouraged, while also maintaining the DBT focus on accountability and behavior change. Sessions typically include reviewing homework, practicing skills, and problem-solving specific challenges. I also integrate chain analysis and solution analysis when needed to help clients understand the sequence of events leading to problematic behaviors and identify more effective alternatives.

She is the warmest and most compassionate therapist I have run into over the years. She is incredibly kind and empowering, and is willing to adjust and accommodate to your needs (whatever they may be).
