About me

Welcome! My name is Christi Wolesky and I am an empathetic LCSW (licensed Clinical Social Worker). I received my Master's of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Upon graduation I worked in the mental health field in various positions for 14 years, and I have been practicing therapy for approximately 10 years. It takes strength and courage to seek therapy. I provide in-person or tele-therapy in a warm, friendly, and safe environment.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session I will discuss confidentiality, mandatory reporting, and discuss how we can work together in a therapeutic relationship. I begin by getting to know the client, and building trust and rapport. I will complete a full assessment and gather background information from your life. It is important for me to understand where you have come from and where you would like to go in the future. We will develop therapy goals together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths as a therapist come from my extensive background as a social worker, working in different states and a variety of social work settings. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals and families from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and many different ethnic and cultural groups. These experiences have helped me become open-minded, adaptable, and able to connect with people from all walks of life. I am professional, trustworthy, friendly, and respectful, and I approach each client with warmth, compassion, and genuine understanding. I believe my ability to listen without judgment and build meaningful connections allows clients to feel understood and supported as they work toward positive change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with children (7+ years) through adolescents, and adults. I work with a variety of clients seeking help with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, and life transitions. I encourage clients to identify their own strengths, empower them to make positive changes, and work within a client-centered approach.
