Hi! I am an LCSW in Florida, licensed in Florida, Texas, Alabama. and Illinois. I obtained my Masters from the University of South Florida in 2000. I live in the Orlando area and have been doing telehealth since 2020. I practice a variety of approaches because not one size fits all. I believe in resiliency and have a strengths based perspective. I have worked in variety of settings including private practice, community mental health, inpatient, home health, hospice, and telehealth with wide variety of clients from children to elderly, family, couples, and group therapy as well.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, I would like to get to know who you are, what brought you to therapy, and better understand what you would like to achieve. I am happy to answer any questions you might have so we can determine if we are a good fit for each other. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel free to really express your thoughts and feelings and know you are the priority.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am experienced with working with a diverse group of individuals and am an attuned listener who will help you to identify your own strengths, empower you to see the problems in your life in a different way, and achieve goals you set.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I primarily love working with women who may be struggling with life balance, self worth, relationship issues, life transitions (from forming a sense of identity to empty nest) work to problem solve, find new ways of viewing themselves and life, and cope with the stress of their situations. Working on grief, loss, reduction of depression, anxiety, are also areas I am very comfortable.
