Welcome! You have taken an important step by beginning the process of finding the right therapist for you. Reaching out can feel scary, vulnerable, or uncertain at times. My hope is to create a safe space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, experiences, and goals. My approach is to work alongside you with compassion, respect, and curiosity. I am committed to maintaining your confidentiality and supporting you in a nonjudgmental manner. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your journey.
In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, what you hope to accomplish, and your current needs. Together, we will develop a plan that supports your goals and helps guide our work together. I provide services through a secure online platform, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
Your healing journey is your own. I use a client centered approach, which allows you autonomy to heal your way. I also use a mind-body approach to healing, by creating a safe space to slow down and connect with yourself, in a way that fosters healing and growth from the inside out. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and use a trauma informed approach that empowers you to set your own goals and manage your progress at your own pace.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Hawaii and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio, with over 15 years of experience helping adults navigate life's challenges. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, relationship concerns, women's issues, parenting challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, stress management, self-esteem, and personal growth. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or struggling to move forward after difficult life experiences. Many of my clients are navigating divorce, caregiving responsibilities, parenting stress, relationship difficulties, major life changes, or the lasting effects of trauma. Together, we work to build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Brainspotting
I am trained in both Brainspotting and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), two powerful, brain-based approaches that can help process trauma, anxiety, grief, and other distressing life experiences. Both modalities work with the brain and nervous system to help reduce the emotional impact of difficult experiences and create new, healthier responses. Brainspotting helps identify and process emotional pain that may be stored in the brain and body, allowing for deeper healing beyond traditional talk therapy. ART is a structured, evidence-based approach that uses guided imagery and eye movements to help the brain process distressing memories in a different way, often without needing to discuss every detail of the experience. These approaches can help reduce emotional distress, increase resilience, and support lasting change by helping the brain and body release what is no longer serving you.
Trauma Informed Care
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I use a trauma informed approach that empowers you to set your own goals and manage your progress at your own pace.
Attachment-based
Attachment therapy explores how your childhood experiences might affect your ability to form meaningful bonds as an adult. By creating a safe and secure therapeutic relationship, you will be able to explore your attachment to others.

This being our first meeting, she left it very open and didn't push for information, which is probably best way to get me to open up.
