About me

Hi, I am Cheyenne, an LCSW who believes therapy doesn't have to feel stiff or clinical to be effective. With several years of experience supporting youth, parents and families, I help clients navigate trauma, maternal mental health challenges, ADHD, anxiety and the often overwhelming stress of everyday life. If you're in the thick of parenting, navigating your teen years or simply feeling stretched too thin, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to slow down, get to know each other, and begin building a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. We'll talk about what's been bringing you in, explore the areas of life you'd like support with, and start identifying the goals that feel most important to you. There's no pressure to have everything figured out. This first conversation is simply about understanding your story, answering any questions you may have, and making sure our work together feels like a good fit. MY goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported and a little more hopeful about the path ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes me unique is my down-to-earth, relatable approach and my ability to meet clients exactly where they are. I bring an outgoing, warm, personality into the room and often use humor to make therapy feel more approachable, engaging and human, without ever losing sight of depth of the work we're doing. At the same time, I am highly attuned to each client's emotional needs and pace, creating a space that feels safe enough to explore even the most difficult or vulnerable topics. Clients often describe feeling both supported and understood, while also gently challenged in a way that fosters real growth and change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support children, teens and adults navigating neurodiversity, trauma, and challenges within their interpersonal relationships. I have strong experience helping clients understand how past experiences, family dynamics and emotional patterns impact their current functioning and relationships. My clinical work is deeply rooted in trauma-informed care, with a strong focus on helping individuals and families move through conflict, improve communication and build healthier connections with others. I am especially skilled in working with those experiencing trauma, difficult family dynamics or conflict, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns and helping clients create lasting change both individually and within their relationships.

My treatment methods

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use a trauma informed CBT approach that helps clients understand how past experiences shape current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can build insight, develop healthier coping skills, and can create lasting change without feeling judged or rushed.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths based approach that helps clients recognize and build on the resilience, skills and inner resources they already have.Rather than focusing only on problems, I work collaboratively to highlight what is working and use those strengths as a foundational for growth and healing. My goals is to help clients feel empowered, capable, and confident in creating meaningful change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use solution-focused brief therapy to help clients identify clear goals and create practical, achievable steps toward change. Rather than staying stuck in the problem, we focus on strengths, progress and what is already working to build momentum. My approach is collaborative, goal oriented, and designed to help clients feel empowered and supported in moving forward.

Eclectic

I use an eclectic approach to therapy in tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs, goals, and life experiences rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method. By integrating evidence-based approaches such as CBT, trauma informed care, strengths based work, and solution focused strategies, I create a personalized and flexible space for healing, growth and lasting change.
