Many of my clients come to therapy feeling “stuck.” They might describe themselves as broken, overwhelmed by self-doubt, or unable to manage life’s demands. They often carry the weight of unrealistic expectations—whether imposed by family, culture, or themselves. Their presenting issues might include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or challenges with identity and self-worth. Beneath those challenges, however, is often a resilient core waiting to be rediscovered. Using a strengths-based resiliency approach, I view each client not through the lens of pathology, but through potential. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide a supportive and collaborative space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences with compassion and purpose. The therapeutic process is not about “fixing” what is broken, but about recognizing the inherent strength, resilience, and wisdom that already exist within each person. Using CBT, we explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Many people find that negative thought patterns—often formed through past experiences or self-doubt—can keep them feeling anxious, sad, or stuck. In therapy, we work together to challenge those unhelpful beliefs and replace them with more balanced perspectives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The overall therapeutic experience is collaborative, compassionate, and empowering. You set the goals, and I help guide the process with evidence-based tools, reflective dialogue, and a genuine commitment to your growth. Clients often leave sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves, greater emotional awareness, and practical strategies for navigating challenges.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and faith-based counseling, grounded in a resiliency and strengths-based framework. I help clients recognize how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, guiding them to reframe unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical coping tools. When desired, I incorporate faith as a powerful source of meaning and hope.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is motivated to engage in the therapeutic process and open to meaningful self-reflection. They recognize that growth and healing require active participation and are willing to share their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a safe, collaborative therapeutic setting. This client may be navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational challenges, or faith-related concerns, and seeks support to better understand themselves and their patterns. They value accountability, are open to learning practical coping skills, and are willing to practice strategies discussed in session. While they may not have all the answers, they bring curiosity, honesty, and a desire for change. Together, we work toward clearly defined individual goals, building on their existing strengths and resilience to foster lasting emotional, cognitive, and spiritual well-being.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

Utilizing faith-based intervention and recognizing how thoughts and feelings shape self-belief, this is used as a strength and a motivator for change in treatment.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using CBT, we explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Many people find that negative thought patterns - often formed through past experiences or self-doubt - can keep them feeling anxious, sad, or stuck.
