My name is Jennifer O’Grady and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Orange County, California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with children, adolescents, and adults and specialize in anxiety, stress, autism, and intellectual and learning disabilities, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy to help my clients make progress and start feeling better.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be spent getting to know you, processing why you are seeking therapy, and building rapport as we establish a therapeutic relationship. A therapy session with me is a safe place where you control what and when you share. You will also hear about my approach and what you can expect in therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have a calm demeanor helping others to feel comfortable and safe. I work well with children and adolescents who experience symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, and/or autism. I have been working with neurodivergent individuals for over 20 years.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. My client population & specialty focus I have found that my style and approach is a good fit for children, teens, and adults who may be dealing with the challenges of life stressors and social pressures. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, autism, and intellectual disabilities. I was a Special Education Teacher for many years and have a passion for working with neurodivergent individuals. I work to help my clients navigate life's stressors while striving to live a meaningful life.
