I am a licensed mental health provider in California and Missouri and have helped clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, depression, and coping with life changes. I believe you are the expert of your story and possess many strengths that can assist you in overcoming challenges. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and I am here to support you in that process.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other. I'll ask about your reasons for seeking therapy, your background, and any goals you'd like to work on. This session is also a chance for you to share what you hope to gain from therapy. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative- I want to ensure you feel heard and understood. We'll discuss what therapy might look like moving forward, including techniques that could be helpful for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling comfortable, validated, and hopeful about your journey ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a provider, my greatest strengths are my ability to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. With a background in both community mental health and private practice, I bring a well-rounded perspective to therapy, helping clients navigate complex emotions, life transitions, and personal growth. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, integrating evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to empower individuals in making meaningful changes. I also have strong skills in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and working with diverse populations, ensuring that each client receives personalized, culturally responsive support.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

To ensure that every client receives the most appropriate care, I want to clarify the focus of my practice. I do not provide crisis or emergency services. Individuals currently experiencing active suicidal thoughts, psychosis, severe substance use, or unsafe living environments requiring immediate intervention are best supported by higher levels of care such as inpatient treatment, crisis stabilization, or intensive outpatient programs. Additionally, I do not offer services for legal or court-mandated therapy. If you are seeking support to fulfill a legal requirement, I encourage you to connect with a provider who specializes in forensic or mandated treatment services. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is client-centered and solution-focused, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities to support individuals in developing healthier thought patterns and coping strategies. With experience in both community mental health and private practice, I am well-positioned to support those managing mild to moderate depression, self-esteem and confidence issues, stress, anxiety, and personal growth. I also work with individuals facing major life adjustments, such as career changes or evolving family dynamics. My goal is to provide a supportive, culturally responsive space where clients feel empowered to make meaningful changes. If you’re looking for therapy that’s structured, affirming, and tailored to your goals, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Let’s work together to turn insight into action and challenges into growth.
