About me

Hello! My name is Brenda and I am a licensed clinical social worker. As a dedicated and empathetic mental health professional with over 7 years of experience, I am deeply committed to helping adolescents and young adults navigate their emotional and psychological challenges. My journey into therapy began with a profound personal interest in understanding human behavior and a desire to support others in their pursuit of mental well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will consist of introductions, where you will have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing. From there, we'll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

The process of therapy can lead to you feeling vulnerable but my goal is to create an empathetic space that makes you feel comfortable. I understand that processing feelings and events from the past can be challenging and therefore, I make it my mission as your therapist to support you through this process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

All of my experience as a therapist has been through working with adolescents and young adults. I have found that my ability to build strong therapeutic alliances with clients is a strength of mine. I am skilled at helping clients set realistic goals and empowering them to make meaningful changes in their lives. I believe in the transformative power of therapy and I am dedicated to supporting you in this journey towards healing.

Love how therapy was explained and how comfortable she made me feel. Emphasizing that therapy is voluntary and I can leave anytime also made me feel better about starting. Feeling more optimistic about getting past my trauma with her guidance.
