Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I'll create a safe non-judgmental space where you can share. What brings you to therapy. We'll talk through your current challenges, goals, and what you hoped to gain from the process. I'll also ask about your background strength to better understand your unique story. By the end of the session will work together to create a plan that feels realistic and supportive so you leave with clarity about the next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to connect authentically, listen deeply, and provide honesty, compassionate feedback. I bring both professional expertise and lived understanding of transitions, postpartum challenges, and the pressure of balancing multiple roles. Clients often say I make them feel safe well also challenging them to grow. My down to earth direct style helps. People feel understood. Well also gaining practical tools to manage, anxiety, depression, and life stressors.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client are people who feel overwhelmed by life's demands and are motivated to grow. Many are young adults, navigating identity, relationships, or career transitions, or parents adjusting to the challenges of postpartum life. They may feel anxious, depressed, or disconnected from themselves and want therapy that's both supportive and direct. My dream clients are open to reflection curious about change, and willing to do the work to feel better. They want a therapist who is down to earth, honest and committed to helping them show up fully in their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is one of the most used methods in my treatment. It allows us to deal with thinking issues, reframing, identifying, irrational, thinking that causes irrational behavior, and it helps us stop and assess situations. I use it in my treatment because a lot of issues that we are dealing with as human beings start with a thought.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

The specialty in DBT allows clients to have structure to their treatment. Really digging deep into our thought process and utilizing interventions where we can see active change occur.

Felicia was very easy to talk to, clear about her approach, provided helpful perspective, and asked thought provoking questions that helped me process my circumstances. We’ve only had our initial session, but I look forward to being her client!
