¡Hola! My name is Rosa Hernandez. I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Los Angeles, California, offering telehealth services to make support accessible and comfortable. I see therapy as a truly collaborative journey. Together, we work to deepen your self-awareness, explore new perspectives, ease difficult symptoms, and strengthen the qualities you already possess so you can experience life with more clarity, connection, and meaning. My style is warm, engaging, and grounded in treating every person with dignity and respect. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to fit you. I believe that when we join forces to shift patterns that no longer serve you, real, life-changing growth becomes possible. My goal is to walk alongside you on your path of understanding, healing, and continued personal growth, supporting you every step of the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is all about helping you feel welcome, supported, and truly seen. We’ll start by getting to know each other and making sure you feel comfortable with the space and the process. I’ll walk you through your rights as a client and give you a clear, easy-to-understand overview of how therapy works,no pressure, no rush. From there, I’ll take time to learn about you: your preferences, what helps you feel at ease, and anything you’d like me to keep in mind as we move forward. We’ll also explore your story, including your background and the concerns that brought you here, so I can get a full picture of how to best support you. Because everyone’s journey is unique, I’ll prioritize listening, giving you space to share what life has been like lately and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. My intention is to create a warm, collaborative environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered every step of the way.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my genuine passion for helping others. Whether through volunteering in my community or being a trusted friend, I’ve always found fulfillment in offering support and guidance. I find it deeply rewarding to walk alongside individuals as they work toward becoming the best version of themselves. This sense of purpose continues to motivate and ground me in my work.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I bring experience working with people who are navigating a wide variety of life challenges, everything from severe and persistent mental health concerns and substance use to chronic health issues, homelessness, involvement with the criminal justice system, and support for at-risk youth. Much of my background comes from community mental health, where I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside clients facing multiple, overlapping stressors. While I’m deeply committed to supporting high-need and high-risk populations, I also work with individuals who simply want a safe, nonjudgmental place to talk, heal, and make sense of their experiences. No matter what you’re carrying or where you are in your journey, you’re welcome here. My approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and cultural sensitivity, I meet you exactly where you are and support you in moving toward where you want to be.
