I specialize in empowering young adults in their 20s and 30s to become masters for their mind. My primary areas of focus are life transitions, starting a family, navigating relationships, anxiety, self-esteem improvement, and stress regulation. I use an integrative and holistic approach to help with healthy habit development for mental and physical well being. Here you will find a compassionate, non-judgmental, personalized approach that is unique to you, and builds on your strengths through deep understanding of your specific needs and goals. Knowledge is power and we will work together to better understand the patterns that are not working to help empower you to live the beautiful life you desire and deserve!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I know that taking the first step to start therapy can feel like a big decision and I will make sure it is as easy and comfortable as possible. During our first session, the focus will be on getting to know you and learning about what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss general information such as living arrangements, significant relationships, career, family history, childhood experiences, as well as emotional and physical symptoms, concerns, and goals. We'll discuss what you would like to accomplish through therapy. We will go at your own pace, I will meet you exactly where you are and help you reflect on what you would like to improve upon. You do not have to prepare, just bring yourself as you are.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a licensed psychotherapist, trained in couples' counseling, eating psychology mind body coaching, and integrative mental health treatment, I bring over 15 years of experience to help through a wide range of challenges in an approachable, compassionate, and personalized way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I know that transitions such as starting college, a new career, relationships, health, or anything else, can feel overwhelming. You might be feeling a bit lost, uncertain of what comes next, or even questioning your sense of self and purpose during this turning point. It’s hard when life presents unexpected challenges and many things you know and feel comfortable with are up in the air. What you're going through is a change, a shift, which often can feel chaotic and scary. At the same time, they can also be opportunities for growth, renewal, and self discovery. I know that doesn’t make it any easier in the moment. I am here for you to lean on. Using a wide range of personalized approaches, I will help you navigate these stormy parts of life. On the other side you will find a more confident, happier, fulfilled, and joyful life.

My treatment methods

Gottman method

I focus on improving communication, deepening emotional connections, and building a foundation of trust in relationships with romantic partners, family, friends, and the self. My method is grounded in research and clinical studies, and it emphasizes the importance of a strong friendship with the relationship, managing conflict constructively, and living the most authentic, fulfilling, and joyful life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a highly effective, goal-oriented approach that helps people recognize and challenge unhelpful thought patterns like racing thoughts, catastrophizing, black-and-white thinking, or overgeneralizing. It also helps people develop coping strategies to quickly manage everyday stressors and challenges.
