I provide a compassionate, individualized approach to therapy grounded in empathy, honesty, and respect. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can be your authentic self while we work together to make your healing journey both meaningful and empowering. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and family conflict. In our initial sessions, we’ll take time to explore your concerns in depth and gain a clear understanding of your experiences. From there, we’ll collaborate to create a personalized plan designed to support healing, build clarity, and promote meaningful, lasting change—helping you restore balance and move forward with confidence.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my therapeutic approach apart is my ability to combine over 15 years of experience with a personalized, results-driven focus. I work with adults, adolescents, and families to move beyond surface-level concerns by identifying the root causes of their challenges. Using a tailored approach, I develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs, goals, and life experiences. This allows us to create meaningful, measurable progress—not just temporary relief. My goal is to help clients gain deeper self-awareness, build effective coping strategies, and experience lasting change that supports long-term emotional wellness and healthier relationships.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, postpartum challenges, and family conflict. My ideal clients are those who may feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns they’re ready to break. They may be experiencing constant worry, mood changes, difficulty adjusting to life transitions, or tension within their relationships. I work well with clients who are open to self-reflection and committed to personal growth, even if they’re unsure where to start. Whether you’re a new parent adjusting to postpartum changes, someone struggling with anxious thoughts or low mood, or dealing with ongoing family stress, I provide a safe, supportive space to process, heal, and rebuild. Together, we focus on developing healthier coping strategies, improving communication, and restoring emotional balance so you can feel more in control, connected, and confident in your daily life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice. In our first session, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and identify the most effective approach to support your growth and progress. Through CBT, we’ll examine how your thoughts influence your emotions and daily experiences. Together, we’ll learn how to challenge and reframe unhelpful thinking patterns, empowering you to shift your perspective and improve how you feel. Throughout the process, you’ll develop practical tools and strategies to create lasting, positive changes in your thoughts, emotions, and overall well-being.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients focus on their current circumstances and future goals. This approach emphasizes your strengths and positions you as the expert of your own life—recognizing your ability to shape your reality and define what you want moving forward. Together, we identify practical solutions, build on what’s already working, and create clear, achievable steps toward the future you envision.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing as a collaborative counseling approach to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence, address insecurities, and strengthen their internal motivation for change. This method empowers you to clarify your goals, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward changing unwanted behaviors..

I am glad that you pointed out immediately that it was a cultural and an upbringing problem. I thought it was me! I would still love to improve myself and be sensitive to other cultures especially my daughter in laws culture. We are all creatures of our upbringing and our past and the goal for me is to a non conflict future with her through our past.
