New to Grow
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker who has been in the field for over 33 years. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s complexities with resilience and clarity. My practice provides a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their challenges, uncover their strengths, and develop practical coping strategies. Guided by empathy and evidence-based approaches, I collaborate with clients to address issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship dynamics, and personal growth.
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, discuss what you are looking for and how I can be helpful. We explore your history and how that has affected your current difficulties as well as your hopes for the future.
Not only have I been in practice for over thirty years, but in those years I have experienced many of life's transitions myself. I can help individuals manage transitions such as the transition into adulthood, becoming a new parent, managing the stressors of adoption and raising children with special needs. I can help you to navigate the process of entering into middle age and your elder years and all the other challenges that life throws your way.
I can work with adult clients at any stage of life. I have experience with young people just getting started and figuring out who they are, parents with young children looking to navigate the huge changes in their lives, adults in midlife navigating an empty nest and adult children as well as elders managing end of life struggles and what their life has meant. My ideal client is someone who is eager to explore.

I use the therapeutic relationship to help people learn to better understand the root causes of their current distress and identify more effective methods for managing that distress.
