New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana who works with adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, and postpartum mental health challenges. Many of my clients are high-functioning—they’re used to managing everything on their own, but feel overwhelmed by overthinking, intrusive thoughts, or constant stress. I take a warm, supportive, and practical approach, using evidence-based therapies like CBT and ERP to help you better understand your patterns and build skills that actually work in your day-to-day life. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood while helping you make meaningful, lasting changes so you can feel more calm, confident, and in control.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what’s been bringing you in. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, your symptoms, and any relevant background so I can fully understand what you’re experiencing. We’ll also talk about your goals for therapy and what you’d like to feel different or improved. You’re welcome to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying patterns and discuss a plan for moving forward, including tools or strategies we can start using right away. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is helping high-functioning clients break out of cycles of overthinking, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts. I’m able to quickly identify the patterns keeping symptoms going and provide clear, actionable strategies to interrupt them. Using evidence-based approaches like CBT and ERP, I focus on helping clients see meaningful progress—such as reduced anxiety, fewer intrusive thoughts, improved emotional regulation, and increased confidence in handling daily stressors. My approach is both supportive and structured, so clients not only feel understood, but also leave sessions with practical tools they can apply right away. Over time, this leads to greater clarity, a stronger sense of control, and the ability to navigate challenges with more ease and confidence.

I am best positioned to serve clients who are looking to manage anxiety, depression, stress, OCD, postpartum challenges, or life transitions. I work well with individuals who are motivated to understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and are open to learning practical strategies for lasting change. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and work on practical strategies to manage anxiety, stress, or low mood. I focus on giving clients tools they can use in everyday life to feel more confident, resilient, and in control of their emotions.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help clients facing anxiety, OCD, or related challenges. Together, we gradually and safely confront feared situations or thoughts while reducing unhelpful avoidance or compulsive behaviors. This approach helps clients build confidence, reduce anxiety over time, and regain a sense of control in daily life.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a person-centered approach to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. Together, we explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace, helping you build self-awareness, confidence, and emotional resilience. My goal is to empower you to find your own solutions and make meaningful changes that feel authentic to you.
Strength-Based
I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and build on their existing skills, resources, and personal strengths. Together, we focus on what’s working well in your life and how to use those strengths to overcome challenges, boost confidence, and create positive change. This approach emphasizes growth, resilience, and the potential for lasting progress.
