Hi, I'm Amanda from Ohio, an LMFT working with individuals, couples and families. I am a collaborative therapist who believes meaningful change happens through trust, connection, and a little humor. I prioritize building strong rapport while creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel both understood and gently challenged. Together, we explore patterns that may no longer serve you, identify strengths, and develop practical, personalized goals. My approach is honest, compassionate, and engaging, balancing validation with thoughtful challenge to support growth, insight, and lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a comfortable, judgment-free connection. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping will change, and what’s already helped you cope. Expect a conversational, collaborative approach—with moments of humor when appropriate—to ease nerves and build trust. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, reflect what I’m hearing, and challenge patterns or beliefs that may be getting in your way. Together, we’ll begin clarifying goals and identifying strengths we can build on moving forward. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this first session is about starting where you are and deciding how we’ll work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I take a person-centered, collaborative approach using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Gottman and Interpersonal modalities. I challenge clients to reach goals, but at their own rate instead of others' expectations.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work well with individuals, couples and families that are motivated to change and willing to be challenged.
