About me

There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. Hi, I’m Sara. I’m a licensed therapist with nearly 15 years of experience supporting people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or hard on themselves. I work with adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship stress, and life transitions. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’re feeling, understand the patterns underneath it, and start to feel more steady, confident, and like yourself again. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. This is a space where you can be honest, slow things down, and begin to move forward in a way that actually feels right for you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is just a conversation. We’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you and what you’d like to feel different. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan we’ll figure it out together. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, understood, and a little less alone in it by the end.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a balance of warmth and honesty to therapy. I care deeply about helping you feel understood, while also gently guiding you out of patterns that keep you stuck. With nearly 15 years of experience, I use approaches like CBT and trauma-informed care in a way that feels practical and real not overwhelming. Clients often tell me they feel both supported and challenged in a way that actually helps things change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to work with people who feel overwhelmed internally but are still showing up for life on the outside. You might struggle with anxiety, overthinking, self-doubt, or feeling stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break especially in relationships or how you relate to yourself. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who are tired of being hard on themselves and want to feel more steady, confident, and clear in their decisions. You don’t need to have a specific diagnosis or a perfect goal just a willingness to be honest, look a little deeper, and try something different.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients make sense of the patterns between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work on identifying self-critical or unhelpful thinking, gently challenging it, and building more grounded, realistic perspectives. My approach is collaborative and practical so clients leave with tools they can actually use in their day-to-day life.

Interpersonal

I use Interpersonal Therapy to help clients understand how relationships and life changes affect their mood. Together, we work on improving communication, navigating conflict, and building more supportive connections.
