Let’s be real—life gets messy, and sometimes Googling your problems just isn’t cutting it anymore. I work with individuals 15 and up, navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, or that constant “what am I doing with my life?” loop. I earned my BSW in 2013 from Prairie View A&M University and my MSW in 2016 from Our Lady of the Lake University. I hold an LCSW in TX, MN, ND and TN, and have over 8 years of experience supporting individuals and families from all walks of life. I’m passionate about working with people of color, and I aim to create a supportive, affirming space where you feel seen and respected. If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels, your path Back to Life starts here!

First session

We’ll kick things off with an introductory session where you can share your story, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’d like to change or move toward. From there, we’ll shape clear goals together and get to work in a space that’s warm, honest, and fully supportive of you showing up as you are. I’ll be right there with you as we turn insight into real, meaningful change.

Strengths

I utilize a straightforward, collaborative approach with a client-centered approach—more real conversation, less “therapy voice.” A combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing is interwoven to help you reach your therapeutic goals.

Ideal clients

Healing doesn't have to mean having it all figured out—it simply starts with showing up. I have a special passion for working with people of color, self-critical millennials, and LGBTQIA+ individuals who are navigating identity, relationships, and the beautiful, messy process of becoming. Whether you're feeling weighed down by anxiety or depression, struggling through a life transition, facing relationship challenges, or simply feeling like you've lost your footing, you deserve a space where you don't have to carry it all alone. My goal is to create a warm, affirming, and judgment-free environment where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we'll untangle the thoughts that keep you stuck, explore the patterns that no longer serve you, and reconnect with the version of yourself that feels grounded, empowered, and whole. You are more than your struggles, and healing doesn't require perfection—it begins with feeling seen, heard, and deeply understood. I'm honored to walk alongside you as you find your way back to yourself.

She creates a safe, comfortable, & judgment-free environment where I feel heard & understood. She genuinely listens & takes the time to understand what I’m going through instead of making me feel rushed or judged. Her ability to offer a different perspective will help me work through things & understand myself better. I appreciate the way she makes therapy feel like a place where I can be completely honest & grow. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to better themselves.
