Hello, I have over a decade of experience as a working therapist. My practice focuses on delivering thorough care to both men and women. Providing psychiatric evaluations, supportive therapy, and effective mental health management for all types of life challenges working with individuals coming to therapy alone or individuals coming as a couple, w/or w/o kids, or in a marriage and family challenging situation. Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when you’ve been carrying so much on your own. You deserve a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Mental health is the cornerstone of overall well-being, influencing the body, mind, and soul. My approach is empathetic, aiming to enhance your quality of life through understanding and support. I never push you to make choices. I provide a safe space for you to talk about what has been going on and work collaboratively with you when you are ready. I have experience working with all ages including teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, Panic, Addiction, life transitions, and perinatal mental health concerns. If you decide to book an appointment with me, you can always expect a warm, supportive, client-centered session that is tailored to you and your needs. If you’re ready to take that next step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in your healing and growth.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My priority in our first session is to create a sense of comfort and safety as we begin our work together. We’ll review the confidentiality agreement so you can feel confident that your privacy is respected and protected. Depending on your comfort level, we might explore your intake paperwork, key milestones in your life so far.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer honest feedback and gentle challenges to help you grow, while also holding space for your emotions and validating your experiences. The goal is to empower you by building on your strengths and helping you develop practical tools to navigate stress, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT and DBT, with a focus on helping you create meaningful, lasting change. I bring a calm supportive presence, and welcome space for your healing. If you are looking to learn calming techniques, I share and practice them with you so that you can apply them toward daily stabilization. I allow you to talk about what is bothering you and ask you what you hope to get-out of therapy. I prioritize the importance of what you need help on first, and we work on that first and slowly moving toward other areas. Always working at your own pace and when you are ready. I embrace a warm and empathetic approach with my patients, focusing on building trust and rapport to create a comfortable environment for them to share their concerns. I am committed to improving my patients' lives and supporting their overall wellbeing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I help men and women of all ages build on their strengths rather than focusing solely on their struggles. I have a Specialized Niche working with clients struggling with Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia and Anxiety Disorders including Anxiety and Anxiety Attacks. I make sure I focus on each clients population, demographic, or distinct mental health challenge rather than offering general counseling to make sure I meet all their individual needs. In my practice, I use techniques to help clients develop self-worth, cultivate a supportive inner voice, increase optimism, identify their core strengths, Over time, this process supports the rewriting of neural pathways in the brain, making it possible to move out of survival-based patterns and into more coherent, self-directed ways of being. I have advanced training and experience working with diverse identities and people from different cultures. I always make sure that I work from a culturally affirming care perspective. My client struggle with different challenges. Some include: Anxiety and stress Depression and mood concerns Relationship challenges Life transitions Trauma and PTSD Grief and loss to name a few...

My treatment methods

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

Supporting clients with OCD and anxiety by gradually facing fears, reducing compulsions, increasing tolerance for uncertainty, and building long-term emotional freedom.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Teaching mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills to help clients navigate intense emotions and relationships.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Helping clients slow down, regulate emotions, and reconnect to the present moment through grounding, awareness, nervous system regulation, and self-compassion practices.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I work from a client centered orientation that focuses heavily on the correlation between thoughts, behaviors, and feelings using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. We will spend time in each session identifying and relating your experiences related towards the presenting issues, highlighting the interrelationship of thought, feeling, and behavior. Alongside CBT and client centered modalities, I often will use an integrative approach that is strength based, while we explore any given person's strength, I will try to begin integrating various interventions to help resolve the reasons that bring you to treatment.
