(she/her)
HI, I am Pat Moriarty. I have been in practice from many years and enjoy helping clients grow and make the changes in their lives they desire. I have extensive experience working with people who have depression, anxiety, grief, and health care issues, as well as life transitions. I help people understand what and why they are experiencing certain feelings and help alleviate discomfort.
During our first session we will get to know each other, and how we can work best together. This interaction is an honest interaction between both of us.
I truly love seeing people grow and understand how they can take care of themselves in the present and the future. I see therapy as a place where people can share and learn about themselves and make positive change.
I enjoy working with people who are willing to explore their feelings and willing to look at new methods to thinking and feeling. Honesty is very important in this process.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have used Cognitive Therapy for my entire career. It is helpful for clients to understand why they are feeling certain ways. It is also a form of therapy that you can build on in the future.

She is everything I could have hoped for, I had never felt so comfortable with someone off the first interaction.

I felt comfortable from the start. To me that is the most important aspect. You can’t be honest in a situation without some type of comfort.
