Hey there! I'm a young clinician that enjoys aiding clients through major and minor life transitions. I prefer a interactive, conversational style that allows for free flowing rapport building and client comfort through the treatment process. I know that counseling/therapy is not an easy situation to put oneself in, but if I can ease it in any way possible, that is the goal, so that we can focus on what most matters to you.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session, may or may not, be full of intake paperwork, which means our agenda is based around collecting data. I try to make this task flow easily and run as smoothly as possible. If intake has already been completed, we review the information, along with the measures and start talking goals/purpose for therapy.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
The one thing that stands out about me as a clinician is that I am very inviting. I do my best to always provide a comfortable environment that allows clients to want to come back.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
The ideal client is preferably one that finds themselves at a crossroad or a cliff in their lives. They are trying to navigate a heavy stress load, lacking coping mechanisms, or needing to figure out how to move in a particular direction.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In order to understand our actions, one must look at the thoughts that influence our emotions.
Christian Counseling
For those that center God/Christ in their lives, incorporating Him and biblical principles (scripture) can be a mighty tool towards healing, as well as understanding the path forward.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Many clients respond best to working more so with finding solutions to present issues and improving their daily function by creating workable plans.
Narrative
We all have underlying stories or narratives that dictate how we interact with ourselves, as well as the world and others. Identifying negative or limiting beliefs/narratives, can help clients maneuver through difficult transitional phases of life.

I have only met once and I’m excited to continue my sessions with Anisha. Having a faith based therapist is a must. Excited to see how she will help me out.

She helped guide me through my thought process and gave me a resolution to my confusion. Where I couldn't identify or find the words to describe, she helped me to see what I wanted to say.
