New to Grow
For more than 23 years, I worked with adults experiencing serious mental illness before becoming a licensed professional counselor. My passion for helping others, combined with years of mindfulness training, inspired me to create a therapeutic approach that is both evidence-based and holistic. Many of the people I work with have spent so much time taking care of everyone else that they've forgotten how to care for themselves. Others are simply exhausted from anxiety, depression, trauma, or life changes. Whatever brings you here, we'll work together to help you feel more like yourself again.
Our first session is about getting to know you. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and begin developing a plan tailored to your needs. My priority is helping you feel comfortable, understood, and hopeful about the work we'll do together.
I don't believe therapy should feel like someone telling you what's wrong with you. My role is to help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns that no longer serve you, and learn skills that make everyday life feel more manageable. I draw from CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness, always adapting our work to fit you, not the other way around.
You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Together, we'll make sense of what's happening, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build practical skills to help you move forward with greater confidence. No matter how you arrived here, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. I work well with people who are curious about themselves and ready to make meaningful changes, even if they aren't sure where to begin.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Ever notice how one negative thought can spiral into a bad day? CBT is built on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and actions are all connected. Together, we'll get curious about the patterns that keep you stuck, gently challenge thoughts that aren't serving you, and build real, practical tools you can use when life gets hard.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness isn't about having a totally quiet mind or forcing yourself to feel okay when you're not. It's about learning to notice what's going on inside you, thoughts, feelings, sensations, and not letting your thoughts run the show. I'll help you build skills to ease stress, tune in to yourself more clearly, and choose how you respond rather than just react on autopilot.
Interpersonal
Our relationships shape so much of how we feel day to day. In our work together, we'll look at the patterns that show up in your relationships, communicate more openly, build boundaries we can actually stick to, and navigate the conflicts or transitions that have been weighing on you.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Big change often starts small. Instead of dwelling only on what's going wrong, we'll spend time noticing your strengths and what's already working for you, then use that as a starting point for practical next steps toward the life you're actually trying to build.
