I am Emily, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with individuals and couples who are ready to feel more grounded, connected, and like themselves again. In my therapeutic space, I help clients address concerns such as sexual desire discrepancies, sexual anxiety, intimacy challenges, communication around sex, and changes in sexual functioning across the llifespan. With couples, I focus on fostering open dialogue, strengthening emotional and erotic connection, and supporting partners in developing more satisfying intimate relationships. Throughout, I lean on the strengths you already have and meet you where you are, so therapy feels practical, affirming, and genuinely yours.

Person-centered (Rogerian)
My foundational approach to therapy first and foremost is individualized. I believe in assessing each person and then establishing an evidence based treatment plan that suits them. My ability to meet people right where they are allows me to provide services they need, because it is not a one size fits all.
Strength-Based
Once we establish an appropriate treatment plan, I will utilize your strengths to propel our sessions. Before your automatic thoughts creep in, let me assure you-- you absolutely have strengths!! We may just need to focus on bringing them to the surface.
Sex Therapy
When I met with clients (individuals or couples) that are specifically seeking sex therapy, I will pull my Humanistic and Strength Based methods together with my Sex Therapy training to address the variety of potential issues.
