Are you feeling lost or alone? Do you feel unseen or unheard? Do you feel you have no place to talk about how you truly feel? As a marriage and family therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, and adult family relationships, I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate through their most challenging times. With over 10 years of experience in the field, we create a safe and supportive environment for you to share their deepest concerns and make steps forward. Anxiety and depression can be debilitating and can take a significant toll on an individual's mental and emotional well-being. We work together to equip you with effective coping mechanisms and skills to manage your symptoms. In addition to anxiety and depression, I specialize in adult family relationships . Family dynamics can be complex and challenging, especially as individuals navigate through adulthood. You can develop a deeper understanding of familial patterns and behaviors, and ultimately foster stronger, healthier relationships. I am committed to empowering you to lead a fulfilling, meaningful life. I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, supported, and understood, and together we find the tools and resources to make that a reality.
Sometimes, it can be tough to reach out and set the first appointment, so we take time to explore your understanding of the circumstances in your life and establish goals that will bring about your desired growth or relief. I take an empathic approach and tend to ask questions for clarity and greater understanding
My approach to therapy is collaborative in nature, as I firmly believe that the healing process is a joint effort between the therapist and the client. By tailoring my counseling techniques to the unique needs and goals of each client, I foster a relationship built on trust, respect, and honesty. I use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, & Bowenian Family Systems Therapy as modalities. My approach is trauma-focused and strengths-based.
