Monica Arreaga
Hi, I’m Monica, a Licensed Therapist who believes therapy should be a space where you can exhale, feel understood, and be fully yourself without judgment. I offer a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach, meeting you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, past trauma, and major life transitions. Whether you’re starting a new job, moving, navigating changes in a relationship, or simply feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Together, we’ll explore what’s underneath the surface, build practical tools for managing anxiety and strengthening self-esteem, and help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and your relationships.
I help adults deepen self-understanding, release old patterns, and build more fulfilling relationships.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We’ll start wherever you are and work from there.
First session
We’ll start by getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. From there, we’ll identify your goals and create a personalized plan to help you move forward.
Strengths
We’ll take a holistic approach tailored to your needs to support your healing, growth, and movement toward greater clarity.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who is thoughtful and ready to better understand themselves. You may be someone who tends to overthink, put a lot of pressure on yourself, or struggle to trust your own decisions. You’re looking for a therapist who will offer both compassion and honesty, while helping you make sense of your experiences and feel more confident in how you show up in your life and relationships.
Treatment methods
EMDR
A therapy method I use to help individuals process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns of thinking that may be keeping you stuck, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and develop more balanced and realistic ways of looking at yourself and your experiences.
