About me

I'm a clinical therapist experienced with working with individuals, couples, families and children, who've faced challenging situations, such as domestic violence or family separation. My focus is on creating a safe, empathetic space where clients can explore their strengths, heal, and grow. I use a humanistic approach, meaning I’m here to support you without judgment, helping you connect with your own goals and resilience as we work together toward positive change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental environment where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. I’ll start by introducing myself, explaining my approach, and discussing confidentiality to ensure you feel informed and secure. We'll then talk about your goals for therapy, any current concerns, and what led you to seek support. I’m here to listen closely, answer questions, and help you feel at ease. The session is an opportunity for you to feel heard and understood, and for us to begin building a foundation of trust and collaboration.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can feel fully heard and supported. My approach is humanistic, which means I focus on understanding your unique strengths and challenges to help you grow and heal. With my background in working with individuals, couples, families, and children facing complex situations like trauma or family separation, I understand the specific challenges you might be facing. Together, we’ll work in a collaborative way that builds on your resilience and empowers you to make positive changes at your own pace.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Clients seeking a non-judgmental, empathetic approach that prioritizes their strengths, resilience, and capacity for growth would benefit most from your guidance. Looking for a stable, understanding environment where clients feel safe to address difficult emotions and work towards meaningful, positive change. My background allows me to connect with children and parents navigating separation, offering compassionate support to those dealing with the emotional challenges of family disruptions and personal healing.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

My approach is grounded in humanistic therapy, which emphasizes empathy, respect, and self-directed growth. I create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to express themselves and explore their strengths. Whether helping individuals or children build resilience, supporting families through trauma, or guiding parents toward constructive change, I aim to empower clients to heal and develop the tools they need for positive transformation. I have worked extensively with individuals experiencing adhd and depression, couples to reestablish trust, children to manage emotions and build resilience, domestic violence survivors, and families involved in child protective cases, including children removed from their homes and parents navigating the emotional challenges of separation.

I cannot recommend Angela highly enough. From the very first session, she created a space where I felt safe, heard and genuinely understood. She has an incredible ability to balance warmth and compassion with thoughtful insight, allowing me to be vulnerable while also challenging me to grow in healthy and meaningful ways. During some of the most difficult seasons of my life, her steady presence has been a source of strength and reassurance.
