About me

Hello, I'm Lori Aaron-Brass. My intention is to create an environment where you feel comfortable to explore your problems without being judged. In my counseling practice, I strive to help people gain self-understanding and develop a stronger sense of well-being and life satisfaction. My goals are to help you better understand your problems, identify obstacles to attaining your personal goals, and support you in the process of making positive changes in your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will get to know each other and you are welcome to ask me question about my experience and style. I am eager to learn about you and what brought you to the place you are at in your life and what you are looking for from therapy. Together we can make a plan centered around your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am straightforward and caring. I am a seasoned provider with lots of professional and life experience to get to the root of the issue and empower you to make the changes you desire.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I especially love working with women who are finding themselves and navigating transition with children, partners, parents, work and other life changes. There are stressful times that can significantly impact our mental health and well-being.

She is thoughtful, great at reframing, offers empathy while still looking for actionable steps that are doable and still have an impact. She is honest and insightful. I was nervous about going to a counselor and having a generic experience but its been genuinely helpful.

Lori Aaron-Brass is warm and welcoming. She creates a space where I feel safe to be heard. She's got a vast array of experience and tools in her counseling tool belt. When I'm stuck or overwhelmed, she asks questions that pull from me what I need to move forward. Many times, she's able to offer practical suggestions that help me step out of ADHD paralysis. After our sessions, I'm usually able to mentally reground into my values. With Lori's help, peace and contentment return.
