My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

While using CBT, I guide clients to explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We focus on noticing sensations in the body to better understand feelings, practicing grounding skills to manage emotions, and reframing unhelpful thoughts to foster healthier communication and self-understanding.

Eclectic

I like to combine several techniques from different modalities in therapy.

This was just our first session with Irma. But she felt very warm, comforting, and solution oriented. I appreciated the rules that she set in the beginning of our session i.e. one person talks at a time. I’m looking forward to what therapy can accomplish for our relationship. Irma allows for an unbiased yet understanding environment.

Irma is so kind and attentive and really "hears" me and helps me gain perspective in such a productive and loving way, and offers me solutions that fit for me. I always feel better at the end of our sessions.
