About me

I am an experienced therapist helping individual clients cope with addictions, trauma, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I use evidence-based methods enabling clients to achieve their desired goals. These methods include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, meditation, and writing therapy. I use a client-centered approach to the therapeutic process. We proceed at a pace that is comfortable for you. You determine the goals for therapy.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, clients experience me as calm, empathic, supportive, and often see my experience in addressing their struggles as comforting and inspiring hope.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My experience enables me to bring expertise in a variety of evidence-based approaches to the client's emotional challenges. My calm and empathic approach also creates a supportive therapeutic environment that fosters hope. Ultimately, I have a long track record of clients achieving their desired therapeutic goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Given my extensive experience, I have successfully worked with clients confronting a wide variety of challenges. I see people suffering from anxiety and depression regardless of the precipitating factors. I also work with people affected by trauma. I work with people so they can recover from their trauma-based anxiety, anger, depression, trigger reactions, and low self-esteem.

I've been seeing Dan now for about a month and a half and I have enjoyed my sessions with him. Dan has the ability to redirect your thinking by taking time to think about all of the reasons you may feel a certain way. This allows you to be aware of your feelings which can then begin the process of changing the way you feel. Pretty remarkable!!

Daniel approaches therapy from a kind, upfront, thoughtful, and positive perspective. He listens and asks relative questions that help me think in different ways I haven't thought of to aid in my personal growth.

I’ve seen a couple different therapists over the last couple of years, and Daniel has definitely been my favorite. He’s patient, wise, and also direct. He seems very knowledgeable in his field and I appreciate his honesty and advice. I would highly recommend Daniel for anyone starting or continuing with therapy.
